Mingo has worked with the craft of photography for the past 30 years. Among his projects is the photo book Dedicated In which he portrays 25 Danish artists, including such personalities Michael Kvium, Ghita Nørby and Nikolaj Lie Kaas. In 2015, he took part in the Monochrome Photography Awards and won Fine Art Photographer (Professional) category.

Since the year 2000, photography as an art form has been important to mingo, and an in recent years this interest has intensified.

Impermanence is a theme that consistently pervades the artwork. The fact that everything is ephemeral and nothing lasts forever, not even the tiniest hair on the body, intrigues him.

Moreover, he attempts to find beauty within everything he does – not least from his own existential experience, most often when impermanence has left its mark.
