The Botanic Garden, which belongs to the University of Copenhagen, is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of plants, 22,000 in all, representing 400 genera and 13,000 species in addition to 2,700 subspecies.
The garden includes several exotic plant collections, such as orchids from Thailand and Asia, and an extensive collection of cacti.
